FAQ

Like our financial plans, Simonet Financial Group is built firmly on sound principles & philosophy.

About the Firm

Simonet Financial Group, LLC was formed in 2013 as Simonet Wealth Management. Our Founding Partner’s experience in business & finance spans nearly a decade. In addition, SFG employs the world-class resources and expertise of our custodians, managers, and partners when providing our integrated financial planning solution.

A Fiduciary is someone who stands in special relation of trust confidence, and/or legal responsibility. ERISA defines a Fiduciary as “anyone who gives investment advice for a fee or other compensation… or has any authority responsibility to do so.” In essence, a fiduciary adviser is someone who, for compensation, acts in the best interests of his or her clients. The Fiduciary Standard of Care requires that a financial adviser act solely in the client’s best interest when offering personalized financial advice. We believe in and follow the Fiduciary Standard of Care when addressing any of our clients’ concerns.

We make referrals to other third party professionals via email introductory with client copied. We do not earn any referral commissions or fees

About Our Partners

A custodian is a financial institution that holds a customer’s securities for safekeeping so as to minimize the risk of their theft or loss. A custodian can hold securities and other assets in electronic or physical form. Simonet Financial Group, LLC does not operate as custodian and does not take custody of our clients’ assets. Client assets are held directly at the fund company, with third party trusts, or with a custodian.

About the Client Relationship

Bill Simonet currently holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designations.

Simonet’s IARs may employ the same strategy for their personal investment accounts as it does for its clients. However, IARs may not place their orders in a way to benefit from the purchase or sale of a security.

We act in a fiduciary capacity. If a conflict of interest arises between us and you, we shall make every effort to resolve the conflict in your favor. Conflicts of interest may also arise in the allocation of investment opportunities among the accounts that we advise. We will seek to allocate investment
opportunities according to what we believe is appropriate for each account. We strive to do what is equitable and in the best interests of all the accounts we advise.

As an independent advisor, we don’t just manage your accounts. We act as your comprehensive financial planner. This means looking beyond the stock market to coordinate every piece of your financial puzzle. From tax strategies and estate planning to retirement income and risk management. Because we are independent, our planning is purely objective. We’re not here to sell you a product, but to design a personalized roadmap that evolves with your life. This dual role ensures that every investment decision we make is rooted in a deep understanding of your long-term goals, providing a level of clarity and continuity that “big bank” models simply can’t replicate.
